Our personal training sessions follow the Homegrown Training Method - a proven approach crafted over the last decade by our Owner and Elite Personal Trainer, Caitlyn Hina, to help clients build strength, move better, and feel their best. Each session includes a dynamic warmup, full-body functional strength training using equipment like dumbbells, kettlebells, barbells, sandbags, and more, plus core work, cardio, and a guided cooldown. Whether you're new to training or ready to level up, we focus on safe, sustainable progress — starting with an Initial Fitness Assessment to create a personalized plan just for you.

You'll get access to custom macros, simple meal planning tools, progress tracking, and one-on-one nutrition coaching to keep you on track.

The Initial Fitness Assessment
Before beginning personal training at Homegrown Fitness + Recovery, all new clients must complete a one-time Initial Fitness Assessment (up to 90 minutes). This in-depth session includes measurements, a weigh-in and body fat check, a fitness and movement screening, goal discussion, and optional before photos. This allows our trainer to identify your strengths and any movement imbalances so they can customize the best training plain for you — and with the attention to detail we’re known for.
