Policies

Background Check Policy

At our gym, the safety and well-being of our staff and members is our top priority. To ensure that our gym is a safe environment for all, we perform background checks on all new members, as needed. Our background check policy is designed to identify individuals who may pose a risk to the safety and security of our gym and its members.

All members are now required to provide a U.S. ID or Foreign Passport that includes full legal name, physical address, and date of birth to enable us to perform a comprehensive background check. This background check will include, but is not limited to, criminal history, sex offender registry, and other relevant public records. We will keep all personal identification and background check information confidential and secure.

We reserve the right to deny membership to any individual whose background check reveals information that is not consistent with our facility's values of safety, respect, and integrity. In addition, we reserve the right to revoke membership for any member whose background check is inconsistent with these values.

We believe that this policy is in the best interest of our staff and members and their safety. If you have any questions or concerns about this policy, please speak to a member of our staff.

Helping Us Serve You Better

For the safety, security, and quality of service we provide, all members and guests must speak and understand fluent English. This ensures we can effectively communicate important policies, instructions, and updates, including emergency protocols. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer memberships or services to individuals who do not meet this requirement.

Gym Policy

  • This is an Adults Only gym. You must be 18 or older to enter or join the facility. No children in the lobby, please.

  • Applicants will be asked for a U.S. ID or Foreign Passport to verify their name, age, and address before purchasing a membership or service.

  • All memberships and services will require a form of payment to be kept on file. We do not accept pre-paid gift cards or loadable debit cards as a form of payment. Only credit cards or bank issued debit cards are accepted as a form of payment for memberships. Cash is accepted for in-person sales for service, product, and gift card purchases.

  • If your membership payment declines, you will have 7 days to update it before your door access is turned off and your membership is canceled. After 7 days, if you decide to rejoin, you will be placed on the most updated gym membership rate.

  • If you have the flu, cold, or any other contagious illness, please do NOT attend the facility.

  • NO dirty shoes or boots may be worn in the gym. Please be courteous and change into clean shoes before entering.

  • Bare feet, socks only, or sandals are not permitted on the gym floor during workouts.

  • No guests of members may use the gym without first meeting with our front desk associate to show ID, sign a waiver, receive a tour of the facility, and purchase a pass.

  • If members are caught sneaking guests in, there will be an automatic charge on the member’s account of $50.

  • To purchase products from our boutique during non-staffed hours, a retail register will be available to record your selection and a staff member will apply your purchase to your account when they return. This will be based on the honor system (but you’re still on camera!) so please be respectful.

  • Please do NOT drop or slam the weights on the floor (out of respect for Massage and Spa guests, with the exception of medicine balls). Red Silencer Pads are provided for barbell lifts.

  • Please sanitize ALL equipment after use with the sanitizing solution and cloths provided on carts and dispose of them in the appropriate bins when finished. You will be addressed the first time, if failure to do so. The second offense will result in a $50 charge on your account.

  • Please return ALL equipment to its proper place after use. You will be addressed the first time, if failure to do so. The second offense will result in a $50 charge on your account.

  • Sweat Towel service is included with your membership. Please deposit your dirty sweat towel in the appropriate bin when finished.

  • Shower Towels are available to rent for $2 each and sign out at the front lobby. Please dispose of your dirty shower towel in the appropriate bin when finished.

  • Bath Mats are included with your membership, but shower towels and products are not. Please limit use to ONE per visit and deposit your dirty bath mat in the appropriate bin when finished.

  • Other than snacks sold in the boutique, no outside food is allowed on the gym floor.

  • We reserve the right to revoke your membership without refund for violation of these policies or any other disagreeable behavior.

Gym Shower Use Policy

Our gym is designed to provide a range of fitness services to our members. We welcome all members who wish to use our facilitates for their intended purposes, but we ask that everyone respect our policies and not take advantage of gym resources. Specifically, we want to ensure that the showers in our gym are available for our members who have worked up a sweat during their workouts and need to clean up before leaving the gym. To that end, we have the following policies in place:

  • Shower use is reserved for active gym members who are using our facilitates for fitness purposes.

  • Memberships cannot be used for the sole purpose of using showers. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel memberships that we believe are not being used for their intended purposes.

  • Members are expected to be respectful of other gym-goers and limit their shower use to a reasonable amount of time (no longer than 30-minutes).

  • Members are expected to clean up after themselves, following their shower visit. This includes tossing trash in proper receptacles, cleaning up shaved beard hair, makeup, and hair products, and tossing dirty towels in the appropriate bins when finished.

  • Shower Towels are available to rent for $2 each and sign out at the front lobby. Please deposit your dirty shower towel in the appropriate bin when finished.

  • Bath mats are included with your membership. Please limit use to ONE per visit and deposit your dirty bath mat in the appropriate bin when finished.

Cancellation + Purchase Policy

Gym Memberships, Spa Memberships, Spa Passes, Assisted Stretching, Personal Training, and Merchandise:

No refunds. Gym and Spa Memberships will automatically renew 1 Month after the sale date unless Homegrown Fitness and Recovery is contacted via email or telephone at least 72 hours prior to the renewal contract date. No refunds or credits will be issued for purchased merchandise, credits not used, or automatically renewed contracts.​

Spa Passes, Assisted Stretching, and Personal Training Appointments:

Your scheduled appointment is reserved specifically for you. Please note that late arrivals will not receive an extension of scheduled service time and full-service fees will apply. If you need to reschedule or cancel your reservation, please contact us at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time to avoid fees. Unfortunately, we cannot reschedule or cancel your reservations within 24 hours of your appointment time. If you are unable to make it, a 100% charge will be applied to the card on file. All packages expire 30 days after the purchase date and cannot be shared.

Massage Therapy Appointments:

For your convenience, we apply an additional 20% gratuity, but this can be adjusted only on the day of your service. We do not apply a 20% gratuity to late cancelled appointments. Your scheduled appointment is reserved specifically for you. Please note that late arrivals will not receive an extension of scheduled service time and full-service fees will apply. If you need to reschedule or cancel your reservation, please contact us at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time to avoid fees. Unfortunately, we cannot reschedule or cancel your massage reservation within 24 hours of your appointment time. If you are unable to make it, a 100% charge will be applied to the card on file.

Events:

If you need to cancel your reservation, please contact us at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time to avoid fees. Gift Cards:

No refunds. Gift Cards expire 6 months after purchase date and cannot be exchanged for cash. They will not be replaced if lost or stolen.

These policies are subject to change. Manager/Owners reserve the right to waive policies at any time. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these policies so that we can maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all of our members.
